Entrepreneurship Minister Branko Vukelic on Monday met with Japan's
Ambassador to Croatia, Kaname Ikeda, ahead of an international
conference on strengthening peace and economic development in the
Western Balkans, which will be organised by Japan and in which the
Croatian minister will take part.#L#
The ministerial conference is scheduled for 5 April in Tokyo, the
Croatian ministry of the economy reported.
Ambassador Ikeda pointed to the importance of Croatia for stability
and peace in the region. Therefore Japan wants Croatian officials to
relay their experience and economic possibilities at the conference,
he said.
