ZAGREB, March 10 (Hina) - An exhibition of some 100 photographs about the Israel-Croatia Friendship League was opened at the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb on Tuesday evening.

the Israel-Croatia Friendship League was opened at the Croatian
National Theatre in Zagreb on Tuesday evening.#L#
Present at the opening was Samuel Schlesinger, a successful Israeli
businessman who was born in Zagreb and is Croatia's honorary consul to
Israel. He was one of the initiators of the League, which was
established in 1997.
The first Croatian ambassador to Israel, Svjetlan Berkovic, said the
League, which pools eminent political, public, business and cultural
figures from Israel, helped the establishment of very good relations
between Croatia and Israel.
