Bosnia-Herzegovina, ended in the capital of the Bosnian Serb entity
early Tuesday afternoon without incidents.#L#
About 15,000 people took part in the protest rally, organised by the
Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) , the Socialist Party
of Republika Srpska, the Democratic People's Alliance and the
Democratic Alliance of Pensioners.
The Opposition criticises the ruling coalition in the Bosnian Serb
entity, comprised of the Serb Democratic Party, the Party of
Democratic Action and the Party of Democratic Progress, for
corruption, crime and the difficult economic and social situation in
the entity.
Milorad Dodik of the SNSD said today's protest marked the beginning of
the end of the Serb Democratic Party.
Dodik accused SDS leader and member of the Republika Srpska
parliament Dragan Kalinic of abusing his position. He said
embezzlements in state-run companies were orchestrated by the SDS.
Some 1,500 police officers secured today's rally. According to police
sources, no incidents were reported..
