Speaking of Slovenia-Croatia relations, Rupel said they were
"friendly". As for misunderstandings in connection with ecological and
fishing protection in the Adriatic Sea, which he said had been a
"pre-election" issue in Croatia, he said they might be eliminated.
Slovenia is not willing to further negotiate the border demarcation on
the sea and advocates either the adoption of the border deal
initialled by the two countries' prime ministers or international
arbitration, he said.
