session in the eastern city of Osijek.

Suker said the bond issuance would be used to service old loans so
that the country's debt did not increase.
The EUR150 million issuance includes 600 million kuna (about EUR80
million) for a short term loan for Croatian Railways which was spent
last year, the minister said.
The government bonds will be issued at a fixed annual interest rate of
5.5 percent for a period of 10 years.
