ZAGREB, March 12 (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Minister Miomir Zuzul and State Secretary Gordan Bakota on Thursday evening visited the president of the Croatian Bishops' Conference, Cardinal Jozip Bozanic, the ministry said in a press
release Friday.

president of the Croatian Bishops' Conference, Cardinal Jozip Bozanic,

Zuzul informed the cardinal of the government's activities on the
foreign political front, notably of the pace of Croatia's drawing
closer to the European Union and NATO. The talks also focused on other
aspects of Croatia's activities on the foreign political front.
According to the press release, Zuzul and Bozanic also talked about
the standpoints of the government and the Catholic Church in Croatia
regarding Croatia's relations with European countries and the Council
of European Bishops' Conference.
