Skare-Ozbolt said that those trials would "demonstrate the true
credibility of the Croatian judiciary, which I deem to be very high".
She said she would make every effort to ensure that Croatian judges,
lawyers and police officers working on war crimes investigations
received additional training, especially if Croatia took over some
cases from the Hague tribunal.
Skare-Ozbolt was speaking at an electoral convention of the Vukovar
branch of her Democratic Centre (DC) party.
