ZAGREB, March 5 (Hina) - A total of 326,029 people were registered with the Croatian Employment Bureau as unemployed in February. This is 0.3 percent more than in January and 10.1 percent less than in February 2003, the Bureau
said.

The unemployment trend is still on the rise, however, a slight fall in
unemployment is expected in March because of the beginning of the
tourist season, the Bureau's head, Sanja Crnkovic Pozaic, told a news
conference.
A total of 19,560 persons were removed from the Bureau's register,
which is 13.2 percent more than the month before and 11.3 percent less
than in February. Of this number, 11,064 people found jobs and 8,496
were removed from the Bureau's register for other reasons.
