Kosor told reporters the meeting addressed the situation in areas of
special state interest, which the ZPH assessed as bad. The process of
return and reconstruction has been completed in most areas, but the
most important problems are those concerning the economic situation -
there are no jobs and the unemployment rate in some areas exceeds 50
percent, Kosor said.
ZPH leader Josip Kompanovic told reporters the ZPH insisted on the
adoption of an entirely new concept of legislation on areas of special
state interest.
