SBS president Ivan Macas said his union would put forward a proposal
to the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management that
meat importers also purchase some meat from the domestic market, and
if they refused, their import licences should be revoked.
Macas said that the negative response by some organisations to the
suspension of the ban was politically motivated.
