According to a statement released by the UNMIK on Friday, the adoption
of a law on cooperation with the International Criminal Tribunal for
the former Yugoslavia is exclusively within the jurisdiction of the UN
Civilian Administrator.
The UNMIK and the Assembly of Kosovo harmonised views on the draft act
on the matter, but it is Civilian Administrator who can pass the law
in the form of a book of rules.
The Kosovo parliament on Thursday adopted several laws including the
one the prevention of discrimination and on cooperation with the
International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY).
