Days" opened at the Zagreb City Library on Friday as part of the

"Ukrainian and Ruthenian Culture Days" were opened by Ukrainian
Ambassador to Croatia Vyktor Kyryk, who said the contribution of the
Ukrainian-Ruthenian community in Croatia to the development of
Croatia-Ukraine relations was big.
Said community, which is active as the Alliance of Ruthenians and
Ukrainians of the Republic of Croatia and is one of the organisers of
the Culture Days, has lived in Croatia for a number of centuries and
is a link between the two peoples, the ambassador said, adding that
the Ukrainians and the Ruthenians had not only preserved their
identity but were also active participants in Croatia's development as
well as an inseparable part of Croatian society.
