archbishop Nikola Eterovic of Croatia secretary-general of the

Eterovic, a former nuncio to Ukraine and the archbishop of Sisak, was
born in 1951 on the island of Brac.
He held several posts of nuncio and worked at the Holy See's
secretariat for relations with foreign countries.
The secretary-general of the Bishops' Synod organises bishops'
meetings and is one of the key posts in the hierarchy of the Catholic
Church.
