The Apostolic Nuncio in Croatia, Msgr. Francisco Javier Lozano,
relayed the greetings of the Holy Father and thanked the city
authorities for naming one street after Pope John Paul II and
proclaiming the pontiff an honorary citizen of Dubrovnik. This s a
special expression of gratitude for everything what the Holy Father
had done for Croatia during the Serb aggression, but also the
confirmation of good relations between Dubrovnik and the Holy See,
Lozano said.
