Peter Semneby, the government's public relations office reported.
ZAGREB, Feb 4(Hina) - Croatia's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of
Family and War Veterans' Affairs and Inter-Generation Solidarity,
Jadranka Kosor, on Wednesday held a working meeting with the chief of
the OSCE mission to Croatia, Peter Semneby, the government's public
relations office reported.#L#
Kosor emphasised the government's willingness to continue cooperating
with the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe in bids
to elaborate new legal frameworks covering the media sector. She
announced that the Culture Ministry would next week launch an
initiative for the set-up of a task force for amending the Media Law,
the Electronic Media Law and the new law on Croatian Radio and
Television.
Ambassador Semneby agreed that it was important to complete reforms in
the media sector and informed Kosor of the engagement of a group of
senior European experts who can help the Croatian government in this
job.
