MOSTAR, Feb 6 (Hina) - The Bosnian Federation Supreme Court on Friday rejected Moamer Topalovic's appeal against a ruling whereby the Mostar County Court last year sentenced him to 35 years' imprisonment for the murder of three
members of a Bosnian Croat family on Christmas Eve 2002 out of religious intolerance.
MOSTAR, Feb 6 (Hina) - The Bosnian Federation Supreme Court on Friday
rejected Moamer Topalovic's appeal against a ruling whereby the Mostar
County Court last year sentenced him to 35 years' imprisonment for the
murder of three members of a Bosnian Croat family on Christmas Eve
2002 out of religious intolerance.#L#
This was the second appeal by Topalovic that was rejected, making the
sentence final.
The sentence is the harshest the Bosnian judiciary has passed since
the mid-1990s war.
