BELGRADE, Jan 11 (Hina) - There is a consensus in Serbia with regard to foreign policy and its priorities will remain unchanged regardless of the new government and changes in the parliament of Serbia and Montenegro and the Council of Ministers, Serbia and Montenegro's Foreign Minister Goran Svilanovic said on Sunday.
BELGRADE, Jan 11 (Hina) - There is a consensus in Serbia with regard to foreign policy and its priorities will remain unchanged regardless of the new government and changes in the parliament of Serbia and Montenegro and the Council of Ministers, Serbia and Montenegro's Foreign Minister Goran Svilanovic said on Sunday.#L# In an interview with Beta news agency, Svilanovic said the most important tasks of the new government and the Council of Ministers - the government of the state union of Serbia and Montenegro - were cooperation with the UN war crimes tribunal in The Hague, Kosovo, and the functioning of the state union. "I believe that the main guidelines of foreign policy, such as admission to the European Union, the promotion of relations with neighbours and the development of balanced relations with the most important international factors will remain unchanged," Svilanovic said. Svilanovic also said that after recent indictments against four army and police generals, Serbia and Montenegro could expect another three indictments, none of which would refer to any active army or police officer.
