ZAGREB, Jan 7 (Hina) - Prime Minister Ivo Sanader will attend an international forum organised by the Bertelsmann foundation in Berlin later this week, while early next week he is due to hold talks with the most senior EU and NATO
officials in Brussels and Strasbourg, thus showing that the new Croatian government's main foreign policy priorities remain membership in the two institutions.

international forum organised by the Bertelsmann foundation in Berlin
later this week, while early next week he is due to hold talks with
the most senior EU and NATO officials in Brussels and Strasbourg, thus
showing that the new Croatian government's main foreign policy

After a trip to the Vatican and an audience with the pope on Thursday,
Sanader will attend the annual Bertelsmann international forum in
Berlin on Friday and Saturday, which this year addresses the future of
Europe.
The event will be attended by numerous dignitaries, including German
Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder, Irish PM and European Council chair
Bertie Ahern, German foreign and defence ministers Joschka Fischer and
Peter Struck, Romanian and Turkish PMs Adrian Nastase and Recep Tayyip
Erdogan, Latvian President Vaira Vike-Freiberga, European Union
enlargement commissioner Guenther Verheugen, European Central Bank
president Jean-Claude Trichet, and former United States Secretary of
State Henry Kissinger.
