Bosnia-Herzegovina prosecutor's office said ina statement on Thursday.
SARAJEVO, Dec 22 (Hina) - Two police officers from
Bosnia-Herzegovina are suspected of having organised people trafficking and
participated in illegal transfer of citizens of Bosnia-Herzegovina to western
European countries, the Bosnia-Herzegovina prosecutor's office said in a
statement on Thursday. According to the statement, Nermin Krasuljic
and Ebubekir Alibasic, both employed in the Tuzla Canton Interior Ministry,
were detained on 19 December, following a warrant issued by the State Court of
Bosnia-Herzegovina.
An investigation showed that the two men smuggled at least 50 Bosnian
citizens to France in 2004 and 2005, charging EUR1,500 per person.
