World-renowned baritone Nucci gives Christmas concert in Split

SPLIT, Dec 13 (Hina) - Leo Nucci, one of the world's most famous baritones, held a Christmas concert at the Croatian National Theatre in Split on Tuesday, accompanied by the theatre's choir and orchestra, conducted by maestro Vjekoslav Sutej.

The programme included excerpts from the most performed and famous operas and was selected by Nucci and Sutej, who conducted without fee.

All earnings, 43,000 kuna, will be used for the education of two young musicians from Split, violinist Kajana Packo, and singer Marija Buzdovacic.
