The objective of the accession conference is to define the procedure of negotiations and the organisation of negotiations between Croatia and the EU as well as the programme for the negotiations for the first three months of 2006.
Inter-governmental bilateral conferences or accession conferences are the framework within which EU membership talks are held. The participant are making decisions on the opening and closing of individual chapters of the acquis communautaire.
