The chamber pools Nordic companies active in Croatia and business people from Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden living in Croatia.
The companies which established the association are Volvo Trucks (Sveden), Lift Modus (Finland), Det Norske Veritas (Norway) and Brunata (Denmark).
According to figures released by the NGK, in 2004 Croatia imported almost 4 billion kuna from the Nordic countries with the export coming to 882 million kuna.
Major investors from the Nordic countries into Croatia are Carlsberg, ABB, Ericsson and Rockwool.
The newly-established association will promote its activities at the second annual Nordic Days event in Zagreb scheduled for 21 and 22 November.
