The association accuses the Ivo Sanader cabinet of preventing the three Reformation churches from exercising their rights stemming from the Constitution.
According to a press release which the association sent to Hina on Monday, this is an act of discrimination against the said churches and they filed a complaint with the Constitutional Court.
The association said that it had not asked the government to conclude the agreement for possible financial advantages.
The motive for the request for the conclusion of the agreement is the fact that agreements make it possible for churches to hold rites for conclusion of marriages which would be treated equally as civil marriages and for organising religious classes in schools for members of the said three churches.
The association reiterated that according to fundamental tenets of belief and church practice, it did not differ from other religious communities with which the government had already concluded agreements.
