Mimica met for talks with the chairman of the Kosovo Assembly's Commission on International Cooperation and European Integration, Sabri Hamiti.
"With the start of negotiations and settlement of its final status, Kosovo will begin its progress towards the European union," Mimica told reporters after the meeting, adding that "it is in the interests of the Croatian Parliament for our colleagues from Kosovo to receive assistance in the European integration process."
Hamiti said that his meeting with Mimica was of special importance, adding that the two parliamentary bodies would continue enhancing their cooperation.
This was the first visit of a Croatian parliamentary delegation to the Kosovo Assembly.
