In a brief letter to the Government and the Parliament, Butorac said she could not accept the post "in the new circumstances where personal interests are put above the interests of children."
Butorac told Hina that both members of Parliament and media were involved in a smear campaign against her over the past two weeks. She accused the media of having refused to publish letters of support from her long-standing associates and clients, children and adults with special needs.
