TIRANA, Nov 17 (Hina) - Macedonian President Branko Crvenkovski
said in the Albanian parliament on Thursday he was confident the decision on
the final status of Kosovo would respect the will of citizens, the principle of
the province's indivisibility and the fact that Kosovo could not be united
with other countries. Crvenkovski said Macedonia had proved on a
number of occasions it was willing to cooperate with the international
community, and in this context mentioned the care provided for 360,000 Kosovo
refugees during the 1999 crisis.
The president said Macedonia would follow developments in Kosovo and
help the international community's efforts to find a solution for the status of
the UN-administered province.
Crvenkovski and Albania's most senior officials discussed the status of
the Macedonian minority in Albania and the Albanian minority in Macedonia.
