Dragicevic said in an interview with the Sarajevo daily 'Dnevni Avaz' published on Monday that as soon as he assumed the ambassadorial post in Zagreb he would focus on the status of the southern Croatian seaport of Ploce used by Bosnian exporters, the construction of the pan-European Vc corridor, whose sections pass through Croatia and Bosnia, and the conclusion of a property-relations agreement and dual citizenship.
Commenting on the regulation of property relations between the two countries, Dragicevic said that this issue should be looked at only through the prism of law and should be freed of political connotations.
I hope that this agreement would be signed as soon as possible, given that any delay would be detrimental to citizens of the two countries, the diplomat said.
Commenting on objections to a free trade agreement signed by the two countries, Dragicevic said that experts were working on the matter. He said that experts from Serbia-Montenegro would also be included in talks in order to remove problems through cooperation among the three countries.
Dragicevic said that Bosnia should use Croatia's experience from integration with the European Union.
Bosnia has recently been given the green light for the start of negotiations with Brussels on a Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA).
"Croatia can help us and I believe it will help us," Dragicevic said commenting on Sarajevo's preparations for the SAA talks.
