"We strongly condemn terrorism and terrorist attacks as a means of achieving political goals and in which innocent civilians are killed," Mesic said in a telegram on Thursday.
According to official information, 56 people were killed and 102 were wounded in explosions at three hotels in Amman on Wednesday evening. Jordanian authorities have arrested several persons suspected of planting the explosives.
The Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Thursday there were no Croatian citizens among the casualties.
