The two officials said the programme would ensure the continuation of the long standing and successful cultural cooperation between Croatia and Poland. They recalled that Zagreb and Krakow had been cooperating for 250 years.
Biskupic announced a series of Croatian exhibitions to be staged in Poland. He highlighted the competence of Polish experts in the protection of the cultural heritage, recalling that valuable Croatian incunabula had been or were being restored in Poland.
The Polish ambassador said the programme would enable the Croatian public to see exhibitions presenting medieval and contemporary Polish art.
The programme was signed in accordance with an agreement on cooperation in culture and education the two governments signed in Zagreb in 1995.
