Croatia's efforts to join are monitored by the United States, Israel, France, and Argentina, a Culture Ministry spokesperson said.
The delegation included associate expert Karel Francapane and Polish foreign minister advisor Ireneusz Kotarski. They met Culture Minister Bozo Biskupic and the Croatian national delegation for the Task Force to discuss a Baseline Study drawn up by the national delegation and the culture and science and education ministries.
The study presents Croatia's projects and programmes in science, education and research concerning the Holocaust, as well as programmes for a new permanent display at the memorial museum in Jasenovac, the site of a WWII death camp.
Croatia was commended for its progress in the projects and programmes. A debate on Croatia's admission to the Task Force will be held in Krakow in November.
