ZAGREB, Oct 28 (Hina) - A two-day meeting of European Uniondirectors-general for civil protection ended in London on Friday, theCroatian National Protection and Rescue Directorate said in astatement.
ZAGREB, Oct 28 (Hina) - A two-day meeting of European Union directors-general for civil protection ended in London on Friday, the Croatian National Protection and Rescue Directorate said in a statement.

The gathering, which focused on ways of strengthening civil protection mechanisms and capacities and on recent crisis situations, was also attended by representatives of EU membership candidate countries -- Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey and Croatia.

The meeting was organised by the European Commission and Great Britain as the current president of the European Union.
