Expressing his satisfaction with what Croatia had done so far, the OSCE ambassador drew attention to the consequences of the 1990s war the country was still dealing with, citing the removal of land mines, the return of refugees and displaced persons, and the completion of the process of housing reconstruction.
In this context Kosor said that 1,300 square kilometres of land are still strewn with mines.
The meeting also focused on the issue of missing pesons and detainees, with Kosor saying that Croatia was still looking for 1,149 persons listed as missing or detained.
Fuentes-Vilallonga said he was satisfied with cooperation with the Croatian government and invited Kosor to visit the OSCE Mission headquarters.
