"Stop People Trafficking" in the southern Adriatic town of Cavtat, Croatian
Deputy Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor said on Tuesday that people smuggling was
one of the most severe forms of the violation of human rights. The
three-day event, organised by the Croatian Government's Human Rights Office and
the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Eruope (OSCE), pooled over
130 participants who will talks about ways to prevent people trafficking.
Deputy PM Kosor stressed Croatia actively participated in all
international activities aimed at preventing people trafficking and was one of
the first countries to sign all international document on the prevention of
this modern form of slavery.
