ZAGREB, Oct 26 (Hina) - Croatian poultry producers provide andguarantee fresh, highly nutritious and safe products and have steppedup control in the light of the appearance of bird flu in the country,the sector of poultry producers at
the Croatian Chamber of the Economysaid in a statement on Wednesday.

control in the light of the appearance of bird flu in the country, the sector
of poultry producers at the Croatian Chamber of the Economy said in a statement
on Wednesday. All Croatian poultry producers keep poultry in closed
and controlled facilities.
The poultry is monitored 24 hours a day and preventive measures in all
stages of production are being applied continually, the country's leading
poultry producers said.
Strict security regulations and compliance with those regulations are
being implemented in all stages of production and distribution through the
Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) system, international
sanitation standards and the quality standard system ISO 9001/2000, the
statement said.
