Ljajic said he did not wish to argue about the accusations and urged discussing all issues.
He added the DSHV took part in the work of the National Council of the Croatian Minority and that its representative had never raised any of the issues from the declaration at a session of the council chaired by Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica.
The minister said that by issuing the declaration, the DSHV was circumventing institutions and avoiding discussing possible problems.
Ljajic said the SCG-Croatia commission for minority issues would meet on November 22, ahead of a visit Kostunica is due to pay to Zagreb.
He announced SCG President Svetozar Marovic too would visit Croatia, on December 13, and that the two visits would provide an opportunity to discuss the positions of ethnic minorities.
In its declaration, the DSHV says Croats are unequal to the majority population and other minorities in Vojvodina, and that Serbia is not protecting ethnic minorities in accordance with international standards.
