Grabar-Kitarovic told the press she had received Rupel's reply to the Croatian proposal and said it was written in the spirit of resolving the outstanding issues between Croatia and Slovenia.
The Croatian minister said she spoke briefly to Rupel in Budapest yesterday and that she would soon reply to his letter, suggesting that Slovenia consider having an international judicial body resolve the sea border dispute because attempts to resolve it through dialogue over the past 14 years had yielded no concrete results.
"Therefore, we propose to Slovenia that we agree to go before an international judicial body, and that Croatia and Slovenia accept that its ruling is binding for both sides," said Grabar-Kitarovic.
