ZAGREB, Oct 12 (Hina) - The Croatian government decided on Thursday to transfer seven per cent of shares in the oil company INA to the Fund of Homeland War Veterans and Members of Their Families, the government's public relations office said in a press release.

The transfer of 700,000 shares will be carried out without a fee and will entail all accompanying rights.

The decision will go into force once it has been approved by parliament.

The transfer is based on the law on the privatisation of INA, under which another seven per cent of the company's shares will be offered to current and former employees for purchase under more favourable conditions.

In February the government transferred seven per cent of Croatian Telecom shares into the war veterans' fund.
