"If we fail to find a rational solution, if we cannot sit down at the negotiating table and recognise the facts, primarily those established by the Badinter Commission, we will go to the International Court in The Hague," Mesic told reporters when asked about the Slovene parliament's decision to declare an ecological zone and a continental shelf in the Adriatic and reports in Slovenia that the matter should be decided at a referendum.
Mesic made the statement while attending a congress on psychopharmacotherapy in Zagreb.
