The daily said the party's highest bodies would meet on Monday to discuss the SDS's future policy in light of Ashdown's latest measures.
SDS vice president Mladen Bosic confirmed having received Ashdown's decision, saying that it created conditions for abolishing the party because it prevented the payment of its bills.
"The SDS bank account has been frozen, but the party has been requested to use the account to pay utilities," Bosic said recalling that Ashdown's ban also covered private donations which were used to pay utilities.
High Representative Paddy Ashdown last Thursday accused the SDS of leading Bosnia-Herzegovina into isolation, stating that the international community had given the Bosnian Serb government a few more days to accept the reform of the country's police forces in line with EU principles.
