The auditors arrived in Croatia to see if its ministries are capable of using funds from the European preaccession programmes.
They were acquainted with the Interior Ministry's activities and plans related to the use of those funds by the assistant minister in charge of European integration and peace missions, Filip Dragovic, and the chief of the ministry department for European integration and peace missions, Marko Kricancic.
The auditors were also acquainted with the ministry's organisation and the newly-established unit for the implementation of projects to be financed from the PHARE programme, including projects related to the strengthening of the border police and human resources management.
