The leaders of the Visegrad Four - Hungary, the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia, also discussed further EU enlargement, the BBC quoted reports by the Slovak media.
"I personally want to re-open the issue of Croatia," Slovak Prime Minister Mikulas Dzurinda said when asked by Slovak reporters about Slovakia's advocacy of the start of entry talks with Croatia.
"Recently, ten of us, prime ministers who claim allegiance to the European People's Party, wrote a letter to Mr Blair - as he presides over the EU - demanding that talks with Croatia should open during the British presidency. So, in this sphere as well, we will not be passive, we will raise these issues," the BBC quoted Dzurinda as saying.
