ZAGREB, Aug 18 (Hina) - The pharmaceutical company Belupo d.d. sold 6.7million packages of medicines amounting to 282.8 million kuna on thedomestic market in the first half of 2005, which is a five percentincrease in relation to the

sold 6.7 million packages of medicines amounting to 282.8 million kuna on the
domestic market in the first half of 2005, which is a five percent increase in
relation to the same period last year, company officials have said.
The company's sales revenue dropped by four percent due to a drop in the prices
of medicines on the list of the Croatian Health Insurance Agency in August
2004 and January 2005.
Belupo employs 900 workers and is Croatia's second biggest
pharmaceutical company with a 13 percent market share.
