ZAGREB, June 1 (Hina) - Ognjen Kraus, a prominent doctor, has been elected for the fourth consecutive time leader of the Jewish community in Zagreb.

Dr. Kraus won the most votes at an election convention on Tuesday evening.

Kraus told Hina on Wednesday that priorities in his new term were the consolidation of the Jewish Municipality in Zagreb, its successful work and the laying of a foundation stone for a Jewish centre and a synagogue in Zagreb's Praska Street next year, when the 200th anniversary of the establishment of the Jewish Municipality in the Croatian capital will be celebrated.
