MOSTAR, May 25 (Hina) - The Union of Serbia and Montenegro does not want to find itself in Croatia's position -- to have its path to Euro-Atlantic integration blocked because of one person (fugitive general Ante Gotovina), as a result of which the whole country suffers, the Minister for Refugees and Human Rights, Rasim Ljajic, said in an interview with the Bosnian bureau of Voice of America Television, which was rebroadcast by Mostar Television on Tuesday evening.

Ljajic said that Serbia and Montenegro had delivered 95 per cent of requests by the Hague tribunal for the handover of war crimes indictees and documents.

"The Hague tribunal is seeking six or seven more indictees from Serbia and Montenegro. Two or three indictees are in Russia," he said, adding that the government of the state union had asked the United States and the international community for assistance in tracking down the fugitive indictees.

Ljajic announced that at the next session the Assembly of Serbia and Montenegro would pass a law freezing the assets of persons indicted by the Hague tribunal.
