The seminar at Vitez Damir Martic barracks in Rakitje near Zagreb is being attended by representatives of foreign and defence ministries from Southeast Europe as well as of international organisations.
The seminar is aimed at discussing the importance of an arms control agreement in the region as an additional instrument of the region's integration into the rest of Europe, and the agreement's importance in increasing transparency and advancing stability and security in the entire Europe.
The seminar also aims at defining the role and activity of the media in informing about the security policy.
