"We want Croatia to be convincing in presenting its evidence of cooperation," Rupel said at a press conference in Ljubljana where he presented the results of the work of his ministry.
Rupel said that Slovenia's support for the start of the membership talks was also evidenced in meetings between the Croatian and Slovene Presidents, Stjepan Mesic and Janez Drnovsek, and his meeting with the Croatian Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic, next week.
"Relations with Croatia are good, with most of the outstanding issues being related either to succession (to the former Yugoslavia) or to historical subjects," the Slovene foreign minister said.
