The member countries said that the negotiations were progressing well and that the process should be completed in one or two negotiating round, the Croatian Economy Ministry said.
At the Zagreb meeting, the Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA) member countries discussed CEFTA's activities in 2005 and exchanged information on the stages CEFTA member countries have reached regarding their negotiations for EU membership.
The meeting was chaired by the Croatian State Secretary in charge of economic affairs Vladimir Vrankovic. The event was also attended by representatives of the Croatian foreign, finance and agriculture ministries and the Croatian Chamber of the Economy.
