HNB vice governor Boris Vujcic acquainted the delegation with the general economic situation in Croatia and the HNB's monetary policy, with comparative indicators for Croatia and new EU members.
Vice-governor Cedo Maletic informed the delegation about the basic characteristics of the Croatian banking system and measures which have been taken or are being prepared to adjust it to EU guidelines and Basel II international standards.
Vice-governor Adolf Matejka explained the latest changes and plans for the liberalisation of financial relations between Croatia and foreign countries, as well as the remaining capital restrictions, the HNB said in a statement.
