The minister said that the seminar would present Croatia as a factor of stability in the region. "Croatia's fast reforms and meeting of EU and NATO criteria can only encourage our neighbours," Roncevic said.
The seminar, which focuses on progress and challenges in South-East Europe, has pooled 150 participants, including parliamentarians from the European Union, NATO representatives and experts from South-East European countries.
During today's debate it was stated that Croatia had made major progress in its integration with NATO and that it could expect an invitation to join NATO in 2006.
