Brigadier Vlado Condic-Galincic, Colonel Zlatko Antunovic and Lieutenant Zeljko Peric are members of the fifth group of observers who will be in this peace mission for one year. Croatia is one of 40 countries that are engaged in the UNMEE mission whose aim is to monitor the implementation of the peace agreement after the end of the Ethiopian-Eritrean war.
The first group of Croatian officers was deployed on 9 March 2001.
